| Should have added -- this is a bit of a stress test, as it doesn't work for me when run from this site (but it did for all the other beta testers). However, for me, it runs fine from my site. There are about 100 images, with around 950 kb of download in total. |

| When I reverse, it turns in the wrong direction ? No it doesn't! If you turn the steering wheel left while reversing, the back end of the car turns left. Try it in a real car! Point the car to the top of the screen, hold reverse, then hold left -- the back end veers to the left, going with the direction of the front wheels. I was very particular about this, as it turns the wrong way if you *don't* deliberately fix it to do so and so many little demo games get it wrong! It should also turn slower at slower speeds Yeah, I know. I couldn't find a quick way to handle this without getting too bogged down in something so trivial, previous comment notwithstanding! |

| But then it turns too tight at high speeds, and I wanted it to turn *less* at high speeds. Also, because I'm stepping through the available animation frames on turning, rather than selecting the most appropriate frame, I'm limited in that way... just laziness, just wanted to see a cool animated sprite! Forgot the project wasn't available anywhere, so feel free to dabble, or re-use the sprites (in accordance with the creator's license, referenced in the source): http://www.hi-toro.com/monkey/cartest.zip |
